Kangaroo Bob’s was founded by Sam Kellett of Atlanta, Georgia, a businessman, parent, and Pop Warner football coach who deeply cares about child development.
Our "Teamwork Curriculum" evolved from a compilation of Mr. Kellett’s experience coaching football to 9 and 10-year olds, and his previous business experience coupled with the best practices of over 100 successful leaders, coaches, and business executives.
At the beginning of each Pop Warner football season, Mr. Kellett observed that league players had no concept of teamwork. Because schools and businesses put so little emphasis on teamwork children do not understand how to work together. Kangaroo Bob’s addresses this oversight by teaching children what it really means to be a part of a team, and rewards them when they demonstrate that they are a valuable member of a team. Our studies indicate that Kangaroo Bob’s is a fun and effective way to foster and develop a child’s ability to work in a team environment.
Kangaroo Bob's proprietary "Teamwork Curriculum" includes over 50 original children’s team games. Each original game has a Teamwork lesson interwoven into the game. All of Kangaroo Bob's team games teach one of the following lessons: Hard Work, Closeness, Leadership, Reliability, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Emotional Control, Awareness, No Fear of Failure, Determination, Talent, Conditioning, Team Spirit, Preparedness, Integrity, and for Being Themselves! The team skills children learn at Kangaroo Bob’s are invaluable for the rest of their lives.
