Frequently Asked Questions:
Q. Why Play for fun?
A. We at Kangaroo Bob’s understand that winning is not as important as being involved and enjoying the activity. It is much more important for children to want to partake and experiment with new activities than to be focused on winning. This is why Kangaroo Bob’s will reward a child when they demonstrate Hard Work, Closeness, Leadership, Reliability, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Emotional Control, Awareness, No Fear of Failure, Determination, Talent, Conditioning, Team Spirit, Preparedness, Integrity, and for Being themselves.
Q. Why encourage your children to play?
A. The National Mental Health Association states that "playtime is as important to their development as good care and food. Playtime helps children be creative, learn problem-solving skills and learn self-control. Good, hardy play, which includes running and yelling, is not only fun, but helps children to be physically and mentally healthy."
Q. Why encourage children to play with others?
A. The National Mental Health Association encourages children to have time with "their peers." By playing with others, children discover their strengths and weaknesses, develop a sense of belonging, and learn how to get along with others.
Q. Why does Kangaroo Bob’s focus on teaching teamwork?
A. Because working well with with others is a key component to a happy and successful life.
Q. How does Kangaroo Bob’s teach children teamwork skills?
A. Children learn how to play with a team through our original athletic play games. During these games children are rewarded for their ability to play with their teammates.
Q. Why is rewarding children so important to Kangaroo Bob’s?
A. The National Association of Mental Health states “that nurturing a child’s self-confidence and self-esteem is a basis for good mental health. Encouraging children’s ability to learn a new game helps them develop a desire to explore about their surroundings.”
Q. Why does Kangaroo Bob’s give away prizes?
A. We do not give prizes away, the children earn them by demonstrating Hard Work, Closeness, Leadership, Reliability, Teamwork, Enthusiasm, Emotional Control, Awareness, No Fear of Failure, Determination, Talent, Conditioning, Team Spirit, Preparedness, Integrity, and for Being Themselves! Plus, children love to win prizes and we are trying to give them the opportunity to do so, in an athletic way, without throwing 1,000 quarters in a video game.
Q. Why do you have a TV or Internet Connections in your facility?
A. Kangaroo Bob's has TV in the Parent's Loung to provide the parents a break and a comfortable place to relax. Kangaroo Bob's also has internet connections or wireless capabilities for the parent's use. Parent's can enjoy their favorite tv show or surf on the net while their children are playing with our Team Instructors in the Hop Arena.

Q. Why is your children’s play center named Kangaroo Bob’s?
A. The red kangaroo is indigenous to Australia and it can jump 12ft at a 30mph velocity. Due to these statistics the red kangaroo seemed like the perfect mascot for a facility where you will be rewarded for jumping. Kangaroo Bob was named after the popular Australian expression “Bob’s your Uncle.” The expression is an exclamation of victory such as the American expression “Game over.”
